Raymond Danowski and John Martin collection of R. Crumb material, 1958-2000.

The collection consists of material relating to R. Crumb, including correspondence to John Martin, and various printed material and ephemera featuring artwork and illustrations by Crumb. The correspondence begins in the 1970s and continues through the 1990s, and includes discussions of Crumb's work and often includes doodles and original art. Printed material includes comic books, periodicals, posters, and exhibit catalogs. Ephemera includes t-shirts, trading cards, key chains, and bookmarks, and Devil Girl chocolates. Also included are phonograph albums with covers featuring Crumb's work, and three statues, one entitled Anal Antics, and two of Mr. Natural.
